Golden Yellow

All of the golds and yellows of August...ginger, turmeric, and mustard seeds for bread and butter pickles, slicing tomatoes and golden popper cherry tomatoes, and happy sunflowers full of sunshine and radiating all the goodness of gold in August! Happy summer days.

What is Keeping Me Busy

We run a small, but busy rafting business in the summer months. Making lunches for hungry rafters and paddlers is part of what gets done everyday between farm life and river time. Luckily we have the fresh produce from the garden and our neighbor's garden to help bring local goodness to our guests. Sometimes lunch only needs to serve 4 people and other times it will need to serve 30 people. Everything is packed in air tight, water tight containers and placed into a cooler along with juice and water.

A Sprinkler Party to Welcome Summer

The Southern Oregon weather has decided it is summer time finally! The sun is warming the Rogue Valley to mid 90's these days, so what better ways to bring in the hot season than to have a Sprinkler Party?! Ryan, Tyler, and Anna came to play on the farm with their sweet mama, Jolene and little, but sleepy brother Aiden. What a wonderful day!
